The LVARC VOX for November 2015
I like the use of many photos in this newsletter. Looks like two familiar guys made a presentation on Oct 6th to this club. How'd it go?
It went very well! The club was receptive to the presentation and we tried not to put anyone in the audience to sleep.
That's pretty good. I always figure how good a speaker is by the number of times I look at my watch during the presentation. No peeking at the watch means an outstanding presentation!
Didn't see one person look at his/her watch during the presentation. Once they nod off they don't look at their watches at all!
<laughing> You do have a point, but then hopefully they didn't fall or slide out of the seat when they nodded off.
I think all the members of the LVARC have first aid training. And it is held in a fire house. If they slide off the chairs then there just might be the opportunity to get some real first aid practice.
I've seen that happen at a meeting when the person's chair gave out them. The person's arm was injured.
At least it was not jokester who pulled the chair out from under the person.
I got a good chuckle out of your comment.
