I received this from the Quarter Century Wireless Association this morning!

50 Years! Sorry. It is just a good day when you have proved that you have stayed with something for so long.

Of course, Amateur Radio is something that is really easy to stay with. It is hard to get into like most things worthwhile but it is easy to stay with because it is so much fun!

Congrats, OM. That’s really true in this case, huh?

I’m truly impressed with your knowledge of the hottest current technology. You surely are not stuck way back there. That’s for certain.

Here’s looking to the future. (You should visualize me tipping a glass of wine to you.) Salute!

Thanks for the "tip" of the wine glass but don't spill any!

I guess the OM is getting more and more true.

I was always told to respect my elders but it is getting hard to find them any more.

I have to say that I have had the pleasure of joining Tony and his lovely wife for dinner a number of times where wine was consumed and I must say I've never seen Tony spill a drop of that precious fluid.

The OM part is good, the alternative isn't as good.

I find it easier to respect the elders now, some of the younger people somehow don't want to earn your respect - is simply demanded.
